The Media Committee of “The Chaldean Patriarch’s Visit to Lebanon”confirmed that this visit comes within an official framework after the inauguration of Mar Louis Raphael I Sako Patriarch on the Chaldean community in the world, where the Patriarch visits the parishes of the Chaldean Catholic Church world-wide and meets his parishioners around the world.
For her part, the media officer Mira Kassarji (Media Administrator of the Chaldean Community in Lebanon) confirmed that the program of the visit includes many spiritual activities and social gatherings, including a concert performed by the Lebanese Internal Security Forces’ Classical Orchestra, led by Colonel Ziad Murad in St. Raphael Chaldean Cathedral in Beirut, Baabda-Brazilia, at 6:00 pm on Friday, September 27, in addition to the Holy Mass led by the Chaldean Patriarch on Sunday, September 29, at 10:30 am in St. Raphael Chaldean Cathedral in Baabda – Brazilia,for the occasion of the Feast of Archangels Michael, Gabriel and Raphael;moreover, a dinner will take place at Hotel Le Royal Beirut, Dbayeh.
In turn, the writer and journalist Roy Mur’eb (Coordinator of the Media Committee of the Visit of the Chaldean Patriarch)noted that the Patriarch’s visit will also include a Spiritual Summit before noon Friday 27 September 2013 in Bkirki, after which a statement will be issued including the conditions of Christians in the Middle East, attached with operational plans and the appointment of committees to follow up on Christians’ crises and to keep pace with them in the Middle East countries.
